Moses series: 8. They were thrust out of Egypt
8. They were thrust out of Egypt
By Joel Howard
“They were thrust out of Egypt and could not wait…The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt…” Exodus 12:39-41 (ESV)

In a moment anything can change
For the Israelites thought they would never see the day
But in a moment, truly, everything had changed
“Quickly, let us come away!
Pharaoh changed his mind this day
Moses says it’s our chance, let’s take it
Into the unknown we go
Into the unknown we run
We’ll look back on it all when it’s done”
For the Israelites thought they would never see the day
But in a moment, truly, everything had changed
“Quickly, let us come away!

Moses says it’s our chance, let’s take it
Into the unknown we go
Into the unknown we run
We’ll look back on it all when it’s done”
