Lanterns with light

Victory in sight

Sin permeates what's right

Jesus is missing
Our bridegroom, our life
His return is pending
We wait with all our might
Feeding the starving
His word our delight

Sins rage now grows
To a much greater height
Man's sorrow also
Can't see wrong from right
Slaying each other
Prostituting one's rights
The devil now prowls

But glory is pending
Far greater than fright
Jesus victoriously 
Coming to smite
His adversary 
And take us to his side
