A war to be present
A war to be present
by Joel Howard
A strange pull
to be elsewhere
has now become the norm
The way I spend,
give and relate
All falls under this weight
"The grass looks
greener over there"
has led a generation
to despair
When I quiet,
slow and wait
A different whisper
comes my way
Instead of panic,
fear and such
Jesus tells me
I'm enough
"Yes you should be here"
Almost like victory
"Yes you should be here"
Abba says to me
"Yes you should be here"
Holy rest
"Yes you should be here"
And He knows best
In this war of fast
or slow
I'm complete only
when I know
Only when I
sit and wait
Then I know
His plans are great
